Eight years ago, Cache Toffee began with a single batch of homemade toffee and a dream—to share something delicious, handcrafted, and made with love. Today, this Utah small business has become a name immediately recognized among gourmet toffee lovers everywhere. As we celebrate our anniversary, we’re reflecting on the journey that brought us here and the eight sweet years of customers that have made every milestone so meaningful.

From Kitchen Experiment to Local Favorite

Like many great stories, Cache Toffee began simply: with butter, sugar, chocolate, and a sense of curiosity. Founder and CEO Lori Darr began by perfecting a family recipe, tweaking it until it had just the right texture and melt-in-your-mouth balance of sweet and salty. Friends and neighbors couldn’t get enough, and before long, word spread throughout Park City and beyond. What began as a tribute to her mom’s recipe quickly transformed into a Utah small business built on quality, creativity, and great taste.

Growing with Heart—and Flavor

Over the years, Cache Toffee has grown to ship nationwide, reaching customers who crave the rich, buttery goodness that defines gourmet toffee. Each small batch is still handcrafted in Utah, using only the finest ingredients and a love of quality that never wavers.

Along the way, we’ve introduced new flavors and found joy in seeing which ones capture people’s hearts. Our Tartan Turtle, a luscious blend of buttery toffee layered with milk and dark chocolate, pecans, cashews, and caramel drizzle, quickly became a fan favorite—earning rave reviews and turning casual tasters into lifelong fans. It’s a flavor that perfectly captures the spirit of Cache Toffee: indulgent, a little nostalgic, and always made with love.

A year ago, we introduced Party Popcorn and Toffee Lollies.  Party Popcorn is a snackable blend of toffee chunks with toffee-coated salty peanuts, popcorn, and pretzels, drizzled with artisan dark chocolate-purely irresistible!  Toffee Lollies are a clean sweet treat for little hands or big hands that want a small treat.  All of which continue to hold true to our values of no corn syrups, preservatives, or dyes. 

A Brand Built on Connection

Every year gives us a chance to pause and reflect—not just on how far we’ve come, but on the people who made it possible. From local supporters who picked up their first box to loyal customers who now send toffee gifts for every celebration, Cache Toffee’s growth is a story of shared joy. It’s about how something as simple as toffee can bring warmth, delight, and a little luxury to everyday moments.

We’re also deeply grateful for the partnerships and collaborations that have helped us expand our reach and refine our craft. Whether it’s corporate gifting, boutique shelves, or community grants, every opportunity has added a sweet new layer to our story.
